Formas,
the Swedish Research Council for Environment, Agricultural Sciences and
Spatial Planning, is a governmental research-funding agency related to
several ministries, the Ministry of Sustainable Development, the
Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Affairs, and the Ministry of
Education, Research and Culture.
Formas encourages and supports scientifically significant research related to sustainable development. In particular this means support in the areas of the environment, agricultural sciences, including forestry, horticulture, veterinary medicine, food, fish and reindeer husbandry, and spatial planning, including building sciences and community systems. The projects supported cover a wide range of approaches from basic research to more applied efforts. Within the built environment also demonstration and experimental projects are supported. |

To encourage the participation of scientists and students from EU Candidate States and developing countries Euro Fed Lipid intends to grant allowances for travel expenses and/ or free registrations. To cover the costs potential donors are invited to contribute to this fund. Donors will be recommended in the registration brochure, the book of abstracts and on the congress webpage.
